Glad to see it! However I still need to hold that new S&W M&P Compact as well.

Do they have any plan on doing a 3" model .45 ACP like this too? It'd be much easier to carry/draw with 3".

+1, I was thinking of doing this to my own service 45 when the sleeves became available. They should offer on their other calibers as well.

Unimpressed.

The should have made it with a 3" barrel. I'm sure there will be many that like this, but as far as I can tell, its just a service model with a chop grip. big deal.

Talking

It's "perfect" as is. More perfect than the G30 for me anyway (this is virtually the same size anyway).

Great move just chopping the grip and leaving the 4 in bbl; that is what I suggested the compact should be when I first saw the "service" model w the too long (for me) grip. Having the option of using the 13 round mags too is icing on a very tasty cake.

If you cut the grip and still use the 13 round 45 ACP mags will this not give you the same length before it was cut off? I think it would still print the same for ccw.
Any coments??
