XDTalk Under New Ownership! - XDTalk Forums

Hi All,

Since starting HS2000Talk back in February 2001 over 8 years ago, it has been a pleasure and an honor to see what HS2000Talk has become and evolved into XDTalk as it is today. However, the time has come where I must relinquish my ownership as owner & founder of HS2000Talk/XDTalk. Today, effective immediately, I'd like to announce the change in ownership to whom a lot of you know well already, our dear friend, Mark Craighead of CrossBreed Holsters.

As many of you know, millions in the U.S. have been griped by financial hardship recently. I can fully sympathize and empathize with each and everyone who are in the same position. I, myself, have been hit hard also and have been relying on credit to get by this year. -- Relying on credit has finally caught up to me and unfortunately, I'm no longer in the position to keep XDTalk running. Mark Craighead has graciously stepped up to take over the reigns to keep XDTalk running. This allows me to regain my own "footing", financially, in order to keep a roof over my head and food on the table.

I know Mark will be able to take care of XDTalk and to further the spirit and goodness of our community. Much will remain the same; some things will change for the better. I have great faith in Mark in keeping XDTalk "humming along" for all to enjoy, benefit, learn and discuss about our beloved XD's, for those just starting out and to the experts in the field.

I'll be in an out as the resident "Bigfoot" as time allows during my time of hardship, but with Mark here daily, he'll be able to better manage the needs of XDTalk.

So please, everyone, thank Mark for stepping up in keeping XDTalk going and keeping XDTalk "within the family"! And thanks to ALL the members of XDTalk who have supported our site and your awesome MOD Squad for their many many many years of support and continuing support of XDTalk...

Kermee....good luck and I hope your situation improves....I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing you on the boards when time permitting.

Kermee, sorry to hear about your financial difficulties. I hope things start to pull through for you, but I know that the forum will be in good hands with Mark.

i haven't been at this site long but it is a good site to learn from and i thank you Kermee for starting it up, and now i thank Mark for taking it over it and keeping it up and running for all us to learn from

Kermee, thank you for creating one of my favorite sites. Thank you for running it for so long. And thank you for keeping it "in the family" by passing it on to Mark.

I truly hope that this move puts you in a better place! I hope that it grounds you financially in a way that allows you to make greater gains.

Mark, thanks for stepping in and taking over. I had a feeling that something like this was in the works with how active you've been lately. I think the site's in VERY good hands.
