Don't post your email. Don't make your addy available online. When you sign up for a forum, use an addy that's a "spam tosser" -- web-based freebie that you can close when it gets spammed. These accounts are all over the net.

Once you get a couple freebie accts. You can use those addys to confirm other accts. Then you delete the acct. with your primary addy as a reference and open accts. that don't have any of your personal information.

I have an email acct. that lists me as Paris Hilton, born July 4, and living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Don't hand out personal information.
