Yesterday, was the real birthday - the Constitution was created September 17, 1787. 222 years ago. Now the fight to keep this precious document intact ensues.
It was ratified June 21, 1788. Nothing against Independence Day, it certainly is one of my favorite holidays. Independence was definitely a required step to becoming the country we are today. But the Constitution - it defines us. Last edited by GreenBayShooter; 09-18-2009 at 09:37 PM. |
