I showed up here after a month vacation.

The first thread I clicked on was supposed to be about a malfunctioning XD. Instead I found a thread that was crapping on someone because their spelling and grammar wasn't too great. And this was on the second response.

It's mostly one person, but it is symptomatic of the lack of courtesy and manners on the internet in general. I stopped posting here a few months ago because the posts were getting petty and nasty.

After a short visit, I'm not coming back anytime soon.

Please, please, please - use that small little triangle at
the lower left hand side of each post to report 'ANY'
perceived violation. Reporting such sends a PM to all
the moderators.

It is there for a reason, use it please.

If we mods erased, shutdown, closed or deleted the
many posts which are made that are so close to a
violation, the total post count would decrease dramatically.

There has to be some leeway, thus we let the thread
posts nearly reach that limit before jumping in. It has
always been the consensus of we mods to let the forum
members 'police themselves'. We quite frankly hold off
on so many of the posts. Again, if any member has a
beef with any post made on this forum, please use the
RED triangle to notify us of your perception.

Ed

Ed,
I find it offensive that you use the color red in your post. It makes me feel as if I am being graded and singled out as a bad person.

As somebody who likely would be labeled "liberal" on most things, I find it absolutely hi-freaking-larious that "liberal" is lumped together with "a$$hole and idiot! That's just perfect! Cracked me up. Thanks, Old School!

We need a good "ROFL" emoticon on this forum...
