Daughter Shot My XD

Okay, it's Independence Day, WOOHOO!!! Anyway, I took my daughter today to the range because it was a celebration (July 4th) and she is 17 years old, and will leave next month to go away to college. She had never held a gun in her hands before, she has always been afraid. Yesterday, out of the blue, she shocked me and asked if I would take her shooting on July 4th, (WOULD I???) Oh I was so excited to hear her ask!!!

Well, on to the target.... She fired 50 rounds from my XD40SC from 25 yards. I couldn't believe she had never fired a gun before!!! If I was a BG, I would STOP if she told me to... What do you think??? Wow, a 95 pound woman shot this target !!! OMG I am so proud!

That's good for me at 25yds! Looks like you've got a little Annie Oakley on your hands.

Lack of any bad habits probably contributes to success there. 'Hope you get to enjoy more range time together in the future!

That's quite impressive. I guess now if anyone ever tells me that I "shoot like a 17 year old girl" I should be happy!

You should be very proud of your daughter...she's all grown up now.

Those are some amazing results for the first time at 25 yards. Heck, those are great results for the 20th time shooting at 25 yards.
