XD .45 tac with meprolight night sights.
Well just thought I would give a little range report on my 45 tac.
I just put on some night sights but they are not the ones made for my .45 Meprolight gives a P/N 11411 for the .45 XD's. I ended up trying a set of P/N 11410 night sights made for the 9/.40 version. Funny thing is meprolight is the only sight company that seems to make a diffrent set for the .45 XD...Every other company shares the same sight for the 9mm,.40,.45 XD. So I thought I would give the 11410 sights a chance. Well the good news is that with 230 grain ammo it shoots point of aim/point of impact from 15 to about 25 yards. BTW I now have 600 round of flawless "shootin"

Didn't know they had different Meps for different XD calibers (or maybe it really is the same sight, just different cat#), kind of strange. Anyway, sounds like the ones you got work great!

Congrads on the new 45. Seems funny to have different size designations for sights. Other companys dont mention difference.

I didn't realize Meprolight had a different PN either. I have them of my XD-9 Service and they have been great!

Just curious, how did you install them? Did you use a pusher or punch?

I used a punch. The worst part is getting off the old sights!
