Weekend Shooting Report

So yesterday I took my cousin and his soon to be brother-in-law shooting my SA-XD40 Service. It was a lot of fun. We put about 300 rounds through it. The only thing that happened was when my cousin did his last magazine full the slide locked back as if it were locked and when I dropped it from the weapon there was still one round left. Weird... I did mostly teaching of the two in stance, gripping the gun, etc. They really liked it. Lots of fun. I also had a buddy of mine loan me his S&W 9mm that was made by Springfield. Just fired it a little bit, only twenty rounds, but didn't like it.

Here are a few of my targets that I did.

#1 - This was my first target, the circled hits are mine, 12 out of 12, totally 93 points out of 120 (77%).

#2 - Using the hand gun chart. 12 out of 12 here.

#3 - Only 10 out of 12 here in the target, the other two outside. These last two are showing me that I really rip up the left side of the target.

#4 - This was my last shoot. I had three full magazines and put the target out about ten feet or so (there wasn't any distance indicator at the range). I pulled, racked, and just put rounds down the range. I only hit 33 out of 36, but mostly upper body hits.

So all fun. Got a few hits off to the side and whatever. But yeah, good shooting.
