Depending on sales and requests, I'm sure we're likely to see just as many options for the XD-M as we currently have for the current XD.

I wouldn't be surprised if SA already has plans to release other models right away. they seem to enjoy keeping us on the edge.

+1. I have the single piece paddle for my XD's, and it's actually a pretty good holster for $15.00. Holds the gun snug and secure to my hip, and looks pretty sharp. It's currently my only OWB holster, with exception to my Bianchi for duty.

Like the idea that the XD lives on - but the mag issue may be a deal breaker for me ...

Barrel Length is 4.5"

Sales Date - Should be ready for sale by May 14th but again depends upon region.

Price - to be determined by dealer, but no MSRP on it.

Frame Color - As of right now black only

Sizes - Current size for now. No official word on future sizes.

Caliber - Gun is designed around the .40SW cartridge. No official word on 9mm or .45ACP variants.

LOL, I know these answers did not help much but this is what I was told by my sales rep.

I talked to my deal, who talked to his sales rep., and he was told the Bi-Tone would be out roughly the same time as the black Model. I hope so, cause that's what I want.
