The pictures on the springfield web site look a heck of a lot better than the homebrewed images.

Still an ugly gun, though.

I think SA needs to take their time and design a .380 pocket pistol platform in which crushes the Kel-tec P3AT and the Ruger LCP. This pistol needs to be basic, reliable & afordable "$250-$400 range".

Yea, SA came out with the EMP but man, I have read about alot of issues it's had. Yea the EMP is small but its heavy,"bulky" not afordable low capacity and nearly close to being a pocket pistol. Pocket pistols are hot right now and will stay that way because we now have the technology to make them fuction the way they should. Take this to the drawing board SA!!

I like it.

Of course, I'm one of those guys that thinks 1911's are ugly...

I like the slide contours, and how it appears to be less bulky on top and maybe melted more. The protruding surfaces on the slide release might make it easier to actuate positively.

I wonder if a .45 service size model would hold even more ammo than the existing models. It will be interesting to see what options are available, calibers, sizes, etc.
I also wonder if current aftermarket sights will fit.

I'll probably buy one...

I like the more angular looks of the M model. If it comes out in 9mm I MIGHT consider it.

Grip is different. It comes with additional backstraps. The current .40 hold 12 rounds, and the new model will hold 16.
