Just a follow up, shooting MUCH better now with some practice!!!! Joined a very nice range this weekend and they have all kind of targets that will really help me get much better.

I have to second what Archer1945 said! Start out at the shorter distances, practice, practice, practice, then move out to the longer shots.

I started the kid out yesterday at about 15' being it's the first time she's ever shot anything. Then we moved back a little bit at a time until we were about 50.'

I've shot at 50 yards before with a 5" tacticals at b-27 targets, that was a ways . . . but did hit the black quite a few times.

Hi Neighbor, and Welcome!

I agree with what all that has been said. The range that you joined is it the indoor range in Daleville? Great place to first practice shooting a handgun. You don't have the elements working against you. Good luck...I love the way mine shoots...it was the first pistol that I actually just took out of the box, and was placing great groups at 25 feet.

Nice to see someone from Bama in here!! No I joined Tri State Gun club, it has rifle ranges, pistol ranges, shotgun ranges. It's also listed in Daleville.
I have shot a couple of times at the indoor pistol range in Daleville.

I had joined last year, and left my membership expire. Was planning on going out the first Sunday in June to renew membership, but have to be in California. Maybe we will run into each other out there.

Enjoy!
