4 Targets with XD-9-SC
I went to the local range yesterday and shot 120 rounds through my XD with new Tru-Glo fiber optic sights. I was really struggling with the white dots and my old eyes, the Tru-Glos are much better but my glasses were fogging up before I could shoot a 15 round clip and my eyes still struggly somewhat.
Here are my 4 targets shot at 30 ft with two mags of 15 rounds for 30 shots into each target. The 7 circle on these targets is 5.5" in diameter. ![]() The first 15 were a little high and scattered so I drew a line around them. ![]() I was starting to get the idea with the second target. ![]() I consentrated on my grip for the third target. ![]() I was starting to get really hot (no AC) and I was already tired from working all day so I ended after this. I'm not sure if this is good or bad so I would really like to get some of you guys opinions. Thanks Last edited by LoneOak : 04-27-2008 at 09:25 PM. Reason: add info |

Looks good to me!
You will get better with time. Practice and more practice. We all have room for improvement, I know I have a bunch of room. Kent

What was your choice of ammo for these targets?

Thats not bad at all. Remember, most defensive shoots are less that 20 feet, and thoes look to be center of mass to me!

You are too hard on yourself. Those are pretty good results.

I finally got to take the new xd.45 out for the first time. I put 100 rounds of WWB through her with no issues what so ever.
This target is 20 rounds, @33 feet. I was impressed with the way it shot. It took me a few rounds to get used to the trigger, but after that no problem. ![]()
