While out at the range last weekend, I decided to put a tracer round as the last round in my XD. When I shot it, my wife and her dad were both like "what was that?" I had this huge grin on my face, and told them it was a tracer. I wanted to see what it looked like, so my wife shot a small video of them for me to see. I know there's no real "need" for me to have tracers, but I just wanted to see what they were like.

BTW, I know I don't have a good stance in the video, and my aim is off. I wasn't really aiming, just wanted to get the effect of the tracers.

You should see a full auto weapon like the M-16 or the M-249 loaded with nothing but tracers. I know it's not practical, but it sure looks neat.

This will give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Can you buy them at a local gunshop? I've never seen them.
