Second time at the range with the HS-9 Service Model
Okay, managed to get my limp wristing fixed by dry firing with clicks at home. Lots of dry firing (well, not that much but 30-60 mins every day).
We shot from 27,5 yards and while I did manage to get all my shots within about 7 inches but they were all on the upper left side of the target, right between 9 and 12 o clock. According to the very helpful target guide on top op this forum it seems I have either too little tringer finger or pushing (anticipating recoil) or no follow through or both. How do I cure the latter? I don't think I have too little trigger finger. And pardon my ignorance but what's follow through? No failures to feed this time but that's because I don't limp wrist anymore. One nice difference: Since I've done a bunch of dry firing the gun has loosened up nicely so that the slide is much easier to rack and the trigger feels smoother. That's about it. |
