Last Sunday, Ohioans For Concealed carry had it's annual Fun N Gun at (TDI)Tactical Defense Institute. The day was IDPA lite. It was a freaking blast!

Ran 300+ rounds through the XD 45.

This was my first exposure to IDPA style shooting. We spend the first hour on proper draw technique. I really didn't have any problems sweeping my support hand, more the unload, clear, then without thinking forgot to holster before picking up my ejected round or mags on the ground. Twice did that before breaking the habit. The gun was unloaded but bad form.

Best part of the day was Dave Bowie from Bowie Tactical Concepts Home Page
gave personal instruction to many that attended. Let me tell you that guy can bust plates. Everyone kept shooting one OFCC members bowie tactical custom XD and raving about it.

I am just getting into idpa to that's one reason i bought the xd-40. What is a IWB ? The holster I have now is the one that came with the gun i don't like it. I looked at the kydex type and the blackhawk . I want something that is comfortable so I ordered a Hume .What types of holsters do you guys use.
