Doubting the xd40 subcompact??? (pics)

I have heard many question the xd40 subcompact. Some question its accuracy because of its "snappy" recoil and because it is small. Well I am here to tell you: I LOVE my GUN!!! I consider myself somewhat of a beginner, as far as pistol shooting goes. So, if I can be somewhat accurate and handle the subcompact, anyone can. I have included some range pics from today. Let me explain...

This is my first target at the range, when I was warming up. This is at 10 yards, the diameter of the circle is 6 inches:

This is four slow shots fired at 25 yards, the total diameter is 8 inches and the diameter of the black is 4 inches. The target is printed on letter size paper. (Sorry I ran out of ammo at this point):

I set up these two targets to practice quik draw and double taps. I had three magazines, each with 4 bullets. I drew from my holster and (fired) doubled tapped at the one target and then doubled tapped at the other. I then changed magazines proceeded to do the same, changed magazines a third time and proceeded to do the same. I did this as quik as possible. The total diameter of the target is 8 inches and the diameter of the black is 6 inches. The target is printed on letter size paper. These were shot from 10 yards:

Needless to say, I am very pleased with the xd40 subcompact. I am somewhat of a beginner but I can control the gun and am fairly accurate with it also. I could use more practice, but I am confident in the capabilites of the xd40 sc. I believe that anyone could handle and be accurate with it. I say it again: I LOVE my GUN!!!

COMMENTS ARE WELCOME...

Good shooting Profesor. I love my XD 40 SC as well. It is a fine firearm for sure. Mine has been flawless so far and we both get better every time I take her on a date to the range. She doesn't have a picky diet either ,this girl will eat anything and she is never in a hurry to get back to the house. I think she likes me, afterall she is always close by my side. Thanks for the pics and the report and have a great day Profesor.

Well since you live in FL...doesn't she get in your pants!

Sorry...from that paragraph I had to say it.

To OP: Nice shooting.

I just got back from the range, and at 15 yards I knocked off 9 3" clay targets with 9 shots from my 40SC. I LOVE this gun!!

on a side note, I also shot a mossberg 500. the first time I have ever shot a shot gun...it was fun.

Nice shooting, and about the claims the XD40sc is not accurate because of recoil, that's a shooter problem. The XD is plenty accurate for the job it's meant to do and if someone can't shoot it well, that falls on the shooter.

That is some good shooting. I know a lot of guys that feel the SC is just as accurate as the larger models. I still shoot my Service much better than my SC, but I have a LOT more trigger time with my Service so that is to be expected.
