USPSA + XD-40 Tactical + ME = Amusing Video
http://my.stratos.net/63/A2/thedump/practical/
The above is a link to a page on my web site. Since all the targets don't show up in the video I have included the course layout before each video clip. The second video clip is of by far the best stage I have shot in my limited 4 USPSA matches I have shot. I loved moving through the walls and shooting from several different locations, moving and reloading on the move. If you have not tried USPSA type shooting go give it a try it’s a lot of fun. Comment, Questions, and Suggestions are always welcome. Thanks for looking mcb |

Good job, especially on the steel. On the Col Hogan stage, in my fantasy world, I would have shot it differently and had one less reload. However this plan would have counted on no misses on the steel and no fumbled reloads ( my fantasy). I think you executed it very well. My plan usually goes to sh*t as soon as the buzzer goes off anyway. I would love to shoot that stage with a revolver
Good videos!!!! |

The video clip is actually from my third time shooting the stage. I help setup the day before so I got to shoot it then and then I shot it twice on Sunday at the actual match. I am pretty sure on my previous try on Col Hogan I did it similar to the way you would have but I manage to miss one of the small steel once and then miss counted somewhere else and ran my gun dry with one paper target left. So for my final run I put the extra reload in figuring if I am going to move three times I would also reload too. That stage was just not friendly to Limited-10 or Revolver shooters. There was one guy there that was shooting a Revolver. He was less then 10% behind me in the overall score for that stage and he had three moving reloads and three standing reloads. He is really good with his S&W shooting 40S&W in a 10mm revolver.

That looks like fun! Thanks for sharing the videos. I want to start IDPA or USPSA, but there's no clubs close by. I love the sound of the rounds hitting steel!
