Picked up my XD Tactical .40s&w on Monday from the shop. Went to the range and fired off 250 rounds with no problems. Didn't even clean it before firing it. Shot two 50 count boxes of WWB, and one 50 count box of Magtech, Remington UMC, and Fiocchi respectively. Cleaned the gun on Monday night. Then Tuesday took it back to the range and shot a 100 count value pack of WWB. Didn't have any jams or misfires at all. Shot very accurately and was a joy to use. So glad I got the Tactical.

Congrats on the new pistol glad that you like it from what I've seen most people do once they get one,and all the paltforms and calibers of the xd seem to share the same characteristics they're accurate easy to shoot and reliable. congrats again on the new gun and welcome to xd talk.

Those Tacticals are fun, aren't they.

Have an XD45C Tactical and XD40 Tactical, the 45 has been worked on while the 40 is still completely stock. Might trade the 40 in for either an XD40SC or Service and then have the grip chopped to make it an XD40 Compact for carrying.

Chris, I have to agree with you. I just recently bought an XD40 tactical and have probably shot 200 rounds through it . . . of the 450 rounds I've ever shot in my life. Ayup, I'm a nube!! But I really like my 40!!

Hope you get may hours of enjoyment out of it.

ive got 2 tac's one 9 and a 45 both have performed great over the past few years,
