just another boring 9SC report

range report!!!
my first chance now that warm weather is here.

this is a 1/3 scale IDPA target from 7 feet (well actually 9 feet so the pistol would be 7 feet away)
so in theory, i should do about the same with a full sized target at 21 feet

01-20

21-40

41-60

61-80

81-100

all in all, I'm satisfied with my results. I'm fairly new to being serious about practicing.

I love how boring XDs can be. They are accurate and reliable, no drama!

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....

thanks for the kind words guys.
today will be a real test of myself.
i'm gonna take off early and hit an outdoor range. their closest target holder is 20 meters.
that's 3 times my normal practice distance of 21 feet.

so you guys can see how bad of a shot i really am.

and i'm surprised no one made a "that little guy" comment on target 01-20

You'll probably be surprised how well you do! The first time I shot my 9sc I did it all from 25 yards. Not pretty groupings but the target was not the place to be!

well it's just not my day...
i took off work early to go to the outdoor range.
i'm almost there and drive about 4 miles down a road with no outlets only to find out it's closed because a culvert is being replace.
back track and take a different route
get to the range and discover they dont stay open past 4:30 until May 3rd.

so i guess i'll have to go to the local (over priced) indoor range so i can get some more BANG time with my 9SC before i go to my IDPA orientation on April 8th. I love doing anything when one of the requirement is to bring 100 rounds and safety gear.
