new XD9 service

Shot my new XD9 service model for the first time last week. This thing is amazing. After a few slow fire shots to see what it would do, I was able to dump 16 rounds into a silhouette head at 15 yards in about 8 seconds. It only got better after that.
The surprise of the day was shooting a hi-point .45 of a buddy's. It felt like hefting a 5 point chunk of steel, but I noticed little recoil, and was busting out the x-ring with it. For the price of these things, they would make nice nightstand or 'Truck/ATV' guns.

I'd rather have my XD and not need it, then need it and not have it....

Welcome from GA. My 9 Service has also just gotten better with time. About 1K rounds and everything seems to have broken in and loosened up nicely. Hope you continue to enjoy it.

Has anyone bought the after market drop in barrels from pistol gear? if so is there a noticable difference in accuracy? I know they're sponsers so I thought I'd give them a try but wanted some input first.
