Xd 40 Sc

This is by far the best gun I have shot! (and everyone I was with at the range thought the same thing) I got it as an upgrade from my FEG 380 and with it being virtually the same size it was an easy switch for my daily conceal carry. at the end of the day I had hit all the cans down and still had a mag left, so I practiced a self defense draw/shoot/move while aiming at one of the posts we were using to hold a can, and with a quick release of all nine rounds I hit the post three or four times! (started at 15 yards, and was around 20 yards when I stopped moving) (it was about 2" wide, and I was moving sideways while shooting at it as fast as I could)

It is one of the bests guns I have shot in terms of accuracy, kick control, and conceal ability.

I know how you feel! I bought mine, knowing the research I had done here and other places made me confident in my purchase...but 3" gun...oh joy, yeah I can conceal but it'll never be a 25 yard gun or better, but thats ok, I'll deal with it. Man, was I wrong. It's the most fun gun I own...well, they're all fun, but there's just something special about the XD. Since day one, I've never had to adjust my grip to get a proper site picture, it's just there. The recoil, in line or better than my wife's px4 in 40. Anyway, I digress, my appologies.

Welcome to the forum, you couldn't ASK for a better place to be as an XD or even a gun enthusiast.

Ammo???

What ammo are you shooting out of your XD 40 sub-compact? I am finding that winchester 180 grain are shooting the best out of my XD 40 sub-compact. Thanks for any info you can give me!!!

I've put about 200 rounds of Berry's Plated 180gr FP, with Federal Champion Primers an Winchester WST powdr through mine, no problems and at least as accurate as my ability to be,probably more.
