Back from the range with new pistols....
Two new pistols.
Glock 36 Browning Buckmark 10" Varmint The Browning shoots very nice. It has a great trigger. I put a Tasco red dot on it. Not quite as accurate as my Ruger pistols. Think I need to find a 10" Ruger! The Glock 36. What a handful. I knew it was going to kick like a mule due to the weight. I was not wrong. It's not a very pleasant pistol to fire. I managed to put 75 rounds though it before I gave up. Mozambique drills did not go very well. It's a bit slow coming back on target. But for a close range carry weapon it will do the job just fine. But I doubt I will ever do any extended range sessions with the little monster. Also took the SA Loaded and the S&W 1911PD. Of course they both shoot just fine like one would expect them to. The S&W with the Crimson Trace grips makes shooting Mozambique drills a real joy. Just watch the red dot. |
