XD40/357SIG
Well I took my new tactical to the range today and about 300 rounds later it is great. Tried the 357 Sig Bar-Sto barrel and it was too much for the stock spring..e.g. cycled too fast. Luckily the on-site gunsmith had a 24# wolff spring for a 5" 1911 that worked perfectly. The 357 bbl shot to point of aim as did the .40 S&W when I switched back to the stock bbl. and kept the 24# spring. All in all a very good day. BTW the 40 ate everything I fed it including some handloads of mine with a 155 gr SWC lead bullet over 5 grains of Bullseye. I just love these guns.
