Followup on new XD-9 Service
Up to 200 uneventful rounds now with new bitone 4" XD. My friend has 250 thru his XD-9 Service with one FTE (he limp-wristed it). I have fired mostly WWB; also Meg Tech 115 FMJ; Blazer brass; Independence 115 FMJ; a few 124 gr. Fed. Hydrashock; and a few 115 FMJ reloads. The WWB has a lot of potential for accuracy. Anyone got any "pet" accuracy loads for 115 FMJ with Bullseye, W-231, Green Dot, or HP-38 (those happen to be the powders I have)? Anyway, for a 1911 guy I sure am fond of my XD. BTW I know ejector wiggle is normal, but my pistol has a lot of side to side play in the ejector, while my friend's is minimal- is a whole lot of wiggle normal?
