Man I love the sound of steel targets. Just the sound makes me want to get out and shoot! Nice vids...

Was nice seeing folks again. Too bad some of the first shoot attendees couldn't make it. My fingers are bruised and bloodied from all the malfunction clears I had to do. Still had a blast. It's about the people, not the score right?
Looking forward to next year.

Hello, new member here. Got to Big Darby early yesterday, so they put me to work helping with match setup. Been doing that sort of thing for a long time, it's a great way to meet the "honchos" ahead of time, and get an idea of what's going to happen during the event.
Liked all the stages, except to say that the 48 round stage four was perhaps a bit daunting for revolvers, single stacks, and even my low speed high drag Browning Hi Power. But after staying late helping to add up the scores, it seems that the ol' P-35 and I held our own against the Croation Sensations! |

Eh, perhaps they meant next spring. One of these days we will run out of 90 degree afternoons in Ohio---I think. Personally would like to see another XD event squeezed in before the snow flies, but that's not my call to make.

You and me both. I'd actually prefer shooting when it was colder...

As long as the roads are safe coming and going to the range I'm usually "in", if not working or wasting time some other way.
Grimloktt, you got any clout towards getting the scores posted? (Hooz, not trying to be a pest, sorry.) |
