It's not sexist to suggest it's "because she's a girl." Women just have less upper body strength than men, and holding a handgun at arm's length and shooting 15 rds will fatigue the muscles used for aiming.

But like I say . . . vertical string center of mass with a swarm in the center. Don't f*uck with her . . . she's tired, but deadly.
We spent an hour @ the range. She spent it w/ the instructor. From what I could tell, he was showing her stance, grip, aim, etc. They used 3 or 4 targets. She was getting really tired toward the end of the session. She was complaining that her hands, wrists, forarms, and elbows were hurting on the way home.

What a woman!

I need to get my wife to start shooting. Wish me luck, it won't be easy! She didn't grow up with any exposure to guns, so all she sees is the bad news stories.

Yeah, that will do it. Get her fresh, warmed up and she'll blow the center out of the center of mass. Before I shoot trap, I do some stretches and warm up a bit. Makes a difference.

What sort of caliber, which gun? I'm betting it's a Service 40 or some such.

A .40 would make cleaner, almost perfect holes because of the bullet shape. Judging by those holes, that ain't a .40

-- Depends on the paper in the target and what it's mounted against.
