XD Tac Broken Barrel

When I was cleaning my gun getting ready for the Michigan State IDPA match tomorrow I saw my XD 9 Tactical Barrel is broken!
I put 200 rounds threw it last night and no problems! I have 4,000 rounds threw it all together. What to do? Has anyone had this problem?

WOW, I have not seen that happen. But you did buy a SA so you got a good warranty, call Megan on Monday they will get you a RMA number for that, and fix it for you....

Just to be safe before tomorrow’s state match I went and ran another 200 threw it today and it didn't have a problem at all. I'm going to run it tomorrow and take a backup just in case! I also took my SC apart and the top of the inlet that I have circled is just like that on both guns so I guess that part is fine.

just a question but... do you fire reloads, non jacketed lead bullets or +P+? Looks like lead fouling to me but I'm not an expert.

Cheers,

I have seen at least one other post with similar damage. Looks like a candidate for a trip to Springfield.
