I still have a long way to go...
I went to the range yesterday and had a good time. My shots are still hitting left. I believe it's due to too much or too little trigger finger, but I'm having a hard time finding the sweet spot on the pad of my finger. Any advise?
The left target is an XD 40sc @ 7 yards. The right target is a G19 @ 7 yards. Two different guns and calibers, Same problem. ![]()

You could also be pushing a little in anticipation of the recoil. Try having someone load in a few dummy rounds in one of your mags and see if you see the gun twitch when you squeeze the trigger.
Where in NC are you from?

I've been having the same problem. I believe it's due to too little trigger finger as a righty. I've worked on using a bit more finger and I've noticably seen my shots come back to center better. Give it a shot next time you're at the range and see what happens.

Same here. I found that I was so concerned about using too much trigger finger and getting close to that first knuckle, that I over-compensated and began using too little. As soon as I added a bit more finger, generally centered in the middle of the pad (right between the first knuckle and the tip), my groups came back toward the middle.
