Xd-9 Service went out to play "with the boys"

Went with a Kimber Pro-Cary 2 .45acp , a Beretta 92FS 9mm and the XD-9.
20yds with a 4in steel target.
Im a 1911 guy since a kid and nothing shoots more natural (8 hits out of 10 normal)
The XD-9 first clip lousy (3 out of 10) --**** trigger-- Ok lets call it Different
92fs hits even worse.
Tryd the XD-9 again with "lots of focus" on trigger control and im impressed.
(7 out of 10) This will be a really great pistol when I adapt to the trigger or get it re-done. My Stock Kimber I only need to think about sight alignment.
The Beretta well......im disappointed. I hope its problem is sights. Need to shoot at paper.

Put 500-1,000 rounds through it and reassess how it shoots for you. If you are like most XD owners two things are going to happen. First, the trigger is going to break in, i.e. smooth out. Second, you are going to improve your grip, trigger pull, etc. Good luck. Let us know how things go for you.

You can just send it to Springer Precision and get it tweaked right off the bat.

Between that and about 2000+ rounds mine is nice and smooth.

Other guys have used Canyon Creek and Springfield but they take forever.
