I FINALLY got to go shoot my XD9. Got to the outdoor range and realised i forgot my targets. Made one with a shoe box. My first pistol and first time firing a pistol. Fired 200 rounds and it started to get dark. Is it wrong that i kinda got a boner when i first shot it? Anyways... very happy Springfield customer here.

First time huh? Was she gentle? Hopefully you didn't have any misfires.

Anyways...Well Hitler got sexually excited when he would dictate to crouds (historical fact). Not the most flatering comparison, but it's the first example that came to mind. The feeling of great power at ones finger tips can lead to excitement that could possibly get one sexually aroused. I'll admit it happened to me when I went through my first mag. Luckally it didn't go so far that I needed a podium in front of me though.

Is it good or bad? I think the answer to that would be highly subjective. Psychologically speaking...it can certainly happen. I'm just glad I didn't buy the XD-45.

It's OK as long as it doesn't affect your stance. I always have to crouch more when it happens to me, though.

It kinda served as a tripod... great for shooting if you ask me.

I thought i liked guns but maybe not as much as i thought. Do you think i'm letting my XD down i hope it doesn't find out i've been spending time with my 1911. Maybe it wasn't the gun itself did you happen to have a dirty magazine.

Hmmm... I didn't get aroused when I shot during my lunch hour today, but it took me about 45 minutes to simmer down from the adrenaline rush. I still feel a little gacked at the momemt.

Nah, I wouldnt worry about it right now, but if you catch yourself rubbing one out to Guns & Ammo, then Id seek professional help ASAP

i read combat handguns i find the articles more in depth and they have better closeups

Find opposite sex to rub one out for you so you can have both hands on Guns and Ammo mag
