Talking 750 and Counting!

Well I finally got to take my XD40 Service to the range and try out my new DGR with 24# spring and my new Pachmayr grip. I ran 150 rounds through it without a hiccup. One box of Winchester Ranger 155gr JHP and 2 boxes of 180gr Blazer Brass FMJ. These are the only two rounds I have shot through my XD since I bought it January 3rd. This is my first handgun and the first gun I have ever gone to the range with and tried to actually better myself in the sport with. I must say that with over 750 rounds without a single malfunction has really impressed me. I'm hooked on Springfield and the XD. I think my next gun is going to be either a XDSC or an XD45 Tac.

The onyl problem I had at the range was with my breathing and trembling.I suffer from a degenerative nerve disease that causes me to have tremor attacks. Unfortuantely I had one come on during my range visit. It made shooting accuartealy more of a challenge. I had to time the tremor and the breathing along with everything else, so needless to say I had a few fliers.
