1st bi-weekly DFW XDtalk Steel Match (unofficial)
Just got back from shooting with 4arrows. Be forewarned, that boy can shoot. A good time was had by all (both of us). Maybe next time we can get a few more guys out there. The range has a plate rack race, with 2 rows of 6 fall-down steel plates and a center pair that lay one on top of the other so you can determine who shot theirs first. The best I managed was 7 plates in 10 rounds. I think Tom edged me out a little, especially on the one handed drills. In all we shot probably 400-500 rounds each. I had one FTE due to a dirty chamber around round 250. A little squirt of breakfree fixed me up.
The range is TDSA in Ferris. It is a member only range, but membership is reasonable. Info can be found at http://tdsa.net |

I had a blast too. If i werent so busy this week, i would already be a member. Bi-weekly sounds pretty good, maybe i can save up for some more ammo by then. A little modest scotton, i think we both won as many as we lost.

Is anyone in that area familiar with the status of Rhineland Arms?
http://www.rhinelandarms.com/ I have been trying to contact them but they have a full email box and I get them returned and their ph number goes to voice mail with,,you guessed it,,another full box with no room to leave a message. I want to buy a couple 45acp kits but their lack of a contact trail is really starting to make me wary. If there is a local that can drive by there and knock on a door or two I would be willing to buy gas. |

Lewisville is kind of a haul for me, but I'll pop by next time I'm up that way.

Hey, I was a member there last year (I need to renew this year). Hollar when you'll go out again. I have a new XD45 Compact. Shot it Friday for a qualification and it shot great.
