Just went to the range yesterday and put 250 more rounds through my service model. No problems at all. I was shooting at about 15-20 yards (I'm still new and not sure of the distances at the range) using WWB 115 grain (best price at Wal-Mart makes it nice and affordable for me). 50 of the rounds were of Speedman (?), which I was given when I purchased the gun. I can't begin to say how much better I shot on the second day! Simply by adjusting some of the mechanics on my end allowed me to get about 2" groupings and a fair amount of bulls. My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner, I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

where in nevada are you? im in vegas. keep up the good shooting. you should post pics next time, pics are always good, lol.

i think you may be talking about speer lawman ammunition.

Update: Have finally reached the 1000 mark on my XD service. It's only getting smoother (plus, my technique is getting better as well). I have had 2 FTE in those 1000 rounds, but both times I just cleared the slide and continued firing (about a 10 second delay). The last magazine I shot yesterday, I had 12 of 15 dead center in the bullseye. I can't say enough good things.
