I will KILL your stomach (4th trip to range)...

So, after a couple of weeks of being more or less snowed and then iced in due to global warming, I finally got a chance to go out to the range again after three weeks...

Here were a couple of targets printed on standard sheets of paper.

15 yards, two mags of 10 each. Lefty shooting Left, WWB, stock sights, which I am thinking about changing...

Definitely low and to the right. I noticed I had better aim if I stopped putting my head down. I suppose the fact I have to shoot below shoulder level doesn't really help eaither, though.

I find it curious to note that my XD wouldn't chamber the last round in the magazine several times today. It's also been sitting dormant for a bit, so I don't know if that may have anything to do with it or not.

It seemed like the nose of the round wasn't pointing up enough, and it was hitting the bottom of the barrel, instead of pointing up a bit in to load like it should.

No other problems to report, other than a below freezing wind chill, like it has been everytime I've gone out this year....

I'll probably call or email Springfield about this loading problem later.

If anyone has any suggestions, do feel free to let me know.

For the loading problem or the shooting...

Mmm, someone had them posted around here somewhere. I might see if I can find them...

Those are Lefty targets I believe though. So you'd need to mirror the results.

For some reason I never thought about looking online for targets...duh

Went to Bass Pro to shoot this afternoon and the range was out of targets. I made do with to paper they gave me. Guess that wont happen again now. Just did a search on yahoo and all sorts are out for free.

I usually buy one or two large silloheutte targets, shoot them up a little, and then tape the targets I print at home onto them. This way I still support the range, and I like shooting the silloheutte targets anyway.

There's nothing to support here.

I was thinking of taking out a bale of wire, but it's in Augusta Springs, on National Park land.
