Passed CHL qualification today

Wife and I both passed written and shooting test today for TX CHL. She and I were only 2 in the class of 12 to shoot a perfect score: all 50 shots winthin 8 ring. Wife's target is on the left.

20 rounds at 3 yds
20 rounds at 7 yds
10 rounds at 15 yds

This was done in 40 degree light rain. XD9 service, DGR w/ 22# spring using Independence 115gr FMJ - performed flawlessly. My hands dried out so badly from the cold, they were bleeding from the knuckles. Her hands were turning blue as she shot the 15 yard session.

ok - I realize I'm not the sharpest cat in the box... What's the trick to getting the image to insert? Tried clicking on insert image icon, puting the path to the file in the dialog box.

The easiest way I've found to insert pics is to host them at someplace like photobucket.com, then just plug the URL they give you into the "insert photo" box. Another thing to watch is that you don't have two "http" phrases in the photo address. Hope this helps...

And congrats on passing--I'm doing mine in March.

If you want to get fancier, cut and paste that link into the window that pops up when you click on the "add image" icon in the tool bar, and it'll insert the pic into the body of your post.
