100 rounds through the new to me XD9 service

Well I was not able to get out today with my brother so I let him take my new to me XD9 service out today with a box of WWB 115grain target ammo. When I bought the gun it had about 1500 rounds through it and was in very good condition with the normal wear on the slide.

He said the gun was a pleasure to shoot and for $300 it was a great deal. He took his Sig P229 .40 cal also and the two girls like shooting the 9 better of course. On the 4th magazine he said that he had a failure to eject but it chambered a new round. Said his buddy had to take it down and get the empty casing out, other thank that it went through the rest of the 100 rounds fine he said.

Now I just need to find some time to take the XD and my new Buck Mark pistol out for myself to fire.

I shot better 'off hand' during my qualification today than I shot right handed.

I went with my brother to the NRA's range Thursday night and put about 90 rounds through the XD9 and I have to say that I really like it. I also shot his Sig P229 .40 but did not like the shorter grip compared to the XD, it fit my big palm alot better.

I also took my new Browning Buckmark micro that night and shot about 100 rounds through it. Man that is a fun little gun and very accurate. Plus it is really cheap to shoot which I like. LOL
