XD9 SC First Time

About a month ago I bought my first XD pistol, a 45ACP Service Model and was really impressed by it. So much so, that last week I bought an XD9 Sc today took it out for the very first time. My son in law and I put around 500 rounds through the little gun using a variety of ammo brands and types. Included in this mix was Winchester WB, Wolf, Fiochi, UMC, Silver Tip, Blazer FMJ and Blazer Hollow points, all in a variety of bullet weights from 147, through 124, to 115. Even had some +P stuff though, for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. Used both the 10 round and 16 round mags and just stuffed in them whatever came to hand. That resulted in shooting many, many mags of much mixed up ammo.

Absolutely no problems of any kind with any ammo, ammo type, mixture, etc. The little SC just took it all in without a hitch. We were firing from a measured ten yards and I was able to put everything into a 4"
circle with no problems. My son in law (he of the young eyes and steady hands) was able to keep all of his rounds within a 2.5" and, on occasion, could put them into a 2" circle.

The trigger action was smooth and steady and really impressed me a great deal. Bottom line The XD9 SC is a real keeper.

Glad you liked your subbie so much. I like both of mine, too!

XD Snubby

I have my XD snubby in a holster, bolted to the side of my headboard at night. During the day it lives on my hip. It replaced a Kahr MK9 that I used to carry. More accurate, lighter, and more ammo. Hell, it spends more time with me than my wife does...... I'm in love.....

Same thing with me.....

I bought an XD45ACP about a month ago and was so impressed I sold my HKUSP40 and bought an XD9SC which I will pick up this Friday (California 10 wait rule).
Can't wait to get to the range!
