anyone shoot better weak handed than strong handed??
While at the range yesterday I did some playing around and shot one magazine strong hand only and one weak hand only. My strong hand was all over the place and the weak hand had a fairly tight group (at least for me). Anyone else shoot like this or am I just weird?

I have found that I am more accurate with my weak hand but the accuracy is gained at the expense of speed. I am significantly slower with my weak hand and I think it helps in being more accurate.

the reason is your weak hand trigger finger hasn't built up muscle memory of bad things like jerking, yanking and pushing.

I haven't shot weak handed yet, but I do notice just holding the gun in my left hand vs right which is my shooting hand, the gun just feels tighter in my grip, and trigger pull feels better. My right hand is my dominant, and stronger hand. However, I write left handed and use untensils left handed. I just wonder if my left hand doing delicate things, is why it feels like it's in better control. I definitely know my left hand, wrist, and arm aren't quite as strong as the right. Next time I go to the range I'm gonna have to see if I actually shoot better that way now. As far as shooting left dominant, two handed.. no way.. feels awkward. But single handed, it feels good in my hand.

I shoot better with my right only because I practiced more with my right. I am know trying to get my left up to speed for the times IDPA forces me to. I also need to shoot better with my left for the just in case. I have found that I shoot much better when I close my right eye and use the left one when I shoot left handed.
