Just got the call from the sheriff's office! My CCW is in and ready for me to pick it up!

Cant get it till tomorrow since i wont be in town....but by tomorrow night its a done deal!

So where did you go for your first time out while carrying? Lots of folks seem to hit Walmart for some reason, I think I went grocery shopping.

Safeway! It was weird I was very self concious. But at the same time it was great... I need a smaller gun though...I am going to have to get an SC probably a .40, the .45 is just a bit too big.

With the proper rig it will disapear, mine does it all the time.

Start with the belt, it needs to be a sturdy non sagging one. I use the Wilderness belt in 1 3/4", after years no sagging keeps pistol close to my side. The holster should be an IWH, preferably one with the loops off of the body of the holster. There are many brands you just need to find one you like, I find kydex to be the best for me. Make sure it has at least a 15 degree cant to it. Then you need to find the sweet spot on your body. Start at 2:00 and work your way around to 4:00, mine is at 3:00 but that is the spot for my body. All of this will go a long way to concealing a larger pistol for CC. Also if you can wear loose fitting clothing, this helps also. I wear one size larger on the pants for the IWH and one on the shirts, it's not as hot and very comfortable. Experiment until you find what is best for you, have fun and good luck.
