Oh, Baby!!!

Well, the maiden voyage is over. WOW, is all I can say!

Firearm: Springfield XD-45 Service Model, Black.
Ammo fired: Sellier & Bellot 230 grain, FMJ.
Rounds fired: 250 rounds.
Location: Outdoor range Slight breeze, sunny, 68 degrees.
Distance: 10 yds & 200 yds.
Recoil: Very, very, manageable!
Accuracy: Extremely accurate!
Reliability: Flawless!!! Not as single glitch, hic-cup, stovepipe, etc.
Ease of shooting: 100% delightful.

Overall Opinion: This is whithout a doubt my carry gun from now on. Finally a comfortable, reliable, accurate, trustworthy .45 ACP that I can carry every where, knowing that it will perform when needed and hit what I aim at. I have found a truly wonderful pistol that I will trust, own, and enjoy for the rest of my life. If you haven't gotten an XD-45 you are truly missing out on what I believe will be the standard by which all polymer .45 ACP pistols will be compared to.
