Oni's Thread of Death, Doom, and Despair.

I plan on periodically posting my range reports here vilifying any malfunctions and/or detrimental/unsatifactory issues with the XD line of pistols or any type of firearm and ammunition while speaking highly of those products that perform well.

So far when it comes to whinchester white Box 9mm 124 grain ammunition; I have no problems with though it keeps my firearms dirty and have experienced no major FTEs or FTFs shooting with wwb.

My local range was very busy today, though I only shot a 50 count box of Hornday 9mm 124grain. All rounds fired flawlessly through my 9mm XD service, so no complaints so far with Hornday 9mm 124.

My XD is due for some field stripping and cleaning (noticable fouling) and the sights need to be resharpened with white out which I will do later tonight.

Another very busy day at the range and after much conversation I only shot 1 box of wwb 124 grain fmjs this evening, all hit center mass and fired properly.

No complaints so far despite having to wait in the check-outt line for some time at Wal-Mart.

Picked up yet another few boxes of wwb after work, and shot them at the range today out of boredom.

Lately I have been trying to ween myself away from limpwristing(dragging, weak wrist posture,/proper gun placement after shots and recoil) though I am finding it difficult to. Practice makes perfect though I used to shoot much better months ago.

124 grain wwb fmjs shot great no complaints despite the chatter of people amongst the range.

115 grain wwbs fired awesome (once I was adept at shooting from the first box) though these cartridges had the the imfamous brown lines from the styrofoam packing, it looked cool.

Nothing negitive with today's range trip, though my rounds were all over the place but they still hit their targets, somewhat (I need to upload action pics, and later point out some nice range locations in MI for you guys.

After first zipping out of work as always again I drove towards the local range which is roughly five miles away and I forgot my trio XDs LoL! This range trip I was loaded with a bulk 500 box of wwb 124 grain fmjs!

Unfortunately it took some time entering the parking lot because there were construction cones and next the road running in front of it was under construction. Nonetheless, when entering the lot I saw a man I used to frequently shoot and chat with at the range wielding his 9mm glock boasting about how he has had only one FTE caused from limp wristing. Well, when I was done chatting with my amigo and his glock 17 I enter the building then low and behold there is another glock 17 sitting on the main counter unattended which I thought was strange but I shrugged it off and filled out a lane request which eventually landed me on lane four next to the talkitve gal.

After much chatting learning her name and, well flirting I finally get to shooting and so does mlady who is shooting her ancient walther pp, (Dunno it could have been soemthing else I'm still new to pistols), lately, I have been able to reconize pistols and eventually, with enough study I hopefully will be able to identify pistols immediately though, that probably will be some time from now otherwise, until then no napping!,.

Afterwards, 300 successful rounds were shot in my lane.

Hehe I am making this reports too personal and I'll try to state the cold facts more often.

300 more WWB 124 grain FMJ cartridges fired flawlessly.
