1 FTF!! help
Ok so after about 100 rounds or so the other night I had one FTF when my 13 year old brother was shooting it.
My question is what could have caused it! the primer had been stricken it was dimpled tried it 2 times before I put it in my buddies 1911 in 9mm and shot it no problem. Could it be that the firing pin is dulling? I rarely dry fire it if that means anything Thanks for all you help!

I think FTF means failure to feed.
The problem you seem to be desribing is a failure to fire. Since the primer was dimpled, It could have been a dud round.

Were the primers on the ones that did fire dimpled more than this one or the same? If the same, then this primer might have required just slightly more to get it to ignite. Are the dimples rounded (both width and depth) or are they irregular in shape? Approximately how deep is the indentation in the primers? Answers to these will help determine whether the firing pin is broken or if something is retarding the travel of the firing pin.

Well I no longer have the case but I tired it twice so I would figure that it was about the same I had no more problems the rest of the day and I plopped it in my buddies 1911 and fired it just fine
