Nothing Special here

Just another flawless session with my XD.

This gun is going to get me into shape. I just have to shoot this thing and since there is no range near here so I hike about a mile into the national forest. There and back and up and down the hills gets the blood flowing for sure.

Send a message via MSN to jednp Send a message via Yahoo to jednp
Now when you get to be a better shot with it, making sure it is unloaded first... you can run back into the woods and get your blood really flowing, then try to shoot when you get there. Good practice for stressful fire lol, and even better exercise!

Shot rounds till my local indoor range closed at 7 (early I know) with my xd9mm. Flawless 100 rounds of wwb 180 grain hps.

Oni, I would like to know how you are shooting 180 grain bullets out of an XD9. What do you know that the rest of us don't?

jednp. That is excellent advice. Training while adrenaline is pumping through you or while you are out of breath is good practice.

tgom222. I don't envy your task of hiking with all your range ammo, but if I could shoot that close to home I would definitely do it. The exercise is a bonus.

+1 on the 180 grains , surely that is a typo error? I shoot 180 out of my xd40. Hmmm maybe I could shoot 9mm out of my 40 barrell ......nah. I smell a bull story.

How about it Oni? What exactly did you fire out of your XD9? be safe

vashooter, hello, and welcome. This is the first time I have seen you on here. It looks like you live close to me. Newport News is about 30 minutes away for me. The range I use is over there on industrial park drive (hotshots). Enjoy your XD
