40 efkfiredragon Range report
New conversion barrel from ported to non-ported shoots like a dream now. all shots in the X or just outside about 1 inch. Groups are less than 1/4 inch apart at 15 yards. aawesome shooting just let the XD do the recoil and the work. Shooting wwb 165 and 180.

Well not much difference in accuracy as I have mixed both up in a mag to shoot on purpose to see which one is more accurate. About the same recoil out of both but the 165gr. are cheaper by the 100 value pack than the 180gr. wwb both types. That being said the 180 gr. leave a bigger hole in the target and seem to have no problems feeding or ejecting either. I like both . Lots more recoil with the unported barrel but it is not anything too daunting. I would recommend the barrell to anyone. See my post about fit somewhere in here.

where are you buying your 100ct boxes of WWB? I can only find 50's around me. I've only shot 200 rounds and I'm already thinking about reloading my own.

Walmart.
About 16-17 bucks/100 rounds of 165 grain give or take based upon your location. Blazer Brass is even cheaper at Walmart in 180 grain. 7.94/50 in mine. |

+1 on the walmart . That is where I load up here in newport news.va. Plus I have seen some $5.00 a box of 50 remington 9mm at bass pro shops on sale a time or two and also at dicks sporting goods.
