Second time out with my xd.45acp
This was the second time to the range with my XD. My cousin went with his Beretta 92 as well as my brother with his Beretta 92 and his Glock 22. I was mainly concentrating at 7 yds in preperation for CCW classes. I really wanted to test the difference between my XD and my brother's Glock.
Both were with Winchester FMJ target ammo from 7yds with two full mags in each (26 in the XD, 20 in the Glock) SA XD .45ACP ![]() Glock 22 (.40 cal) ![]() I am definately happy with this purchase. I can't believe the lack of recoil and the contolability of this pistol. Combined with the amount of ammunition it holds. |

I also had the same experience with my 45 tactical. It is the first handgun I have ever owned, and I have only shoot one other handgun before in my life. (glock 19). It was my first time at the range and I was able to keep all shots with in the 8 ring at 10 yards. The recoil was very light IMO. I was using Remington UMC 230 grain. I'm sure the gun can shoot a lot better, and I'm sure I made a lot mechanical errors, but the gun still shot great.
