That's what I said, " I've got a pretty good grip ". First time I tried to recreate the slide locking back before that last round fired I did it with no sweat ( and I could do it on command if someone said ' make your slide lock back ' ). After I changed my grip up and concentrated on making sure my thumb wasn't near the slide stop my problem was solved. It dosen't take much effort to get the little slide stop to engage up, do it while you dry fire and you'll see what I mean. Trust me it ain't the gun it's you. I always had a certain way I layed my thumb because of my 1911 and I am pretty sure that was the cause. After changing my grip I never had another premature slide lock back. Good luck fellow XDer !
First, why are you yelling, and second, his concern was the slide stop not engaging, not engaging prematurly

Dude, why are your letters so big and bold?
When you change the font size they look big and bold .... my eyes aren't what they use to be give me a break . Just because they letters are big and bold dosen't mean I am yelling. And see because the letters were too size I misunderstood the slide stop question ... hehe.
