Finally, something to silence the glock boys ;)

I'm not really into that entire thing but here goes recent range report.

Tuesday
Indoor range, with the Air off (I hate the air being on!)
25 yard (75 feet) marker exactly. Confirmed twice.

Weapon 9mm XD Service.
Mods:teflon coated barrel ramp and slides.Sights are stock and non adjustable.
Winchester White box 9mm 124gr ammo.

Firstly.. put away your BS flag, I am well on my way to being a surgeon and have spent a good deal of time working on muscle behavior and memory. More on that later.

Standing with two hands forward stance I fired 15 rounds. Most were pretty close to where I wanted them. Vision was a slight problem but it was light enough to sort out the focus issues I had prior to it. No rush, lots of breathing.

My impression so far. A glock couldnt do that Just bashing.
There is a bit more precision left in the gun but I am extremely happy with it. I dont feel any need to change the recoil springs etc or even upgrade to a longer tactical version. The gun is damn impressive.

So how the hell do I do it?
Well on trick I found is that if you take a cheap laser pointer, wrap its on button with black electrical tape and use an elastic band to hold it to the gun. Then put up a target and try hold it as stable as possible and remember to breath. It should be the most thought of part of shooting until you get it right. Then practice doing it while pulling the trigger.

Overall I am hella impressed.
Springfield got something right! or the Croats did

Non believer? If your in GA you can get a showing one day! If not, well bite me

At that distance, I think you did extremely well, nice work! Even if they are slow, controlled groups, they are very good. Looks to me you are hitting 2" groups at 25 yards. Not many can do that.

You sure you weren't using the laser pointer at the range?

My mother in-law lives in Marietta, I'll be their around Christmas time. This is something I'd like to see, not saying your BSing... I just would like to see it done. On a side note I own both a Glock and a HS2000(gen2), I think both are excellent weapons. I never have understood the elitist attitude from either side though. But to each their own.

If you can shoot like that, you should give up your career in surgery and become a ninja-assissin for hire. You'd make a lot more money.

Shoot me a PM next time your in town. Its def fun and I honestly dont think of much of the fight.. Just throw a blow in once in a while.

All my friends own glocks and honestly I dont se much between the two guns. I could easily pick up either and get the job done, as I think most people can. They give me a hard time about the rust problem, which I dont have, so I have to silence them one way or another

That's good shooting and I believe you did it but how many tries before you got those results? Did you fire exactly 15 rounds, holster your firearm and walk away or was that target the best result after firing 50 rounds or even 100 rounds?
