XD 45 LIVES UP TO IT'S BILLING
We took the XD 45 to the range today, the set up was the guide rod by Don for my 9MM service (with a test bushing for the 45) with an 18# spring. I had taken a 20 lb spring but after 250 flawless rounds with the 18# spring, I saw no need to change to the 20#. The XD 45 was shot by several folks at the range as it was the first one they had seen--My wife and each of the fellows who shot the gun were very impressed--PUT ME IN-LINE AS SOON AS THEY ARE READY the Don's rod and bushing work great as is and I may just order as second one for the 9MM and not worry about a new one for the 45.
The report is short and simple cause everything just worked dang perfect not one hitch--not one misfire of any kind--the XD hit where you pointed it. Impressed enough that 2 GAP's may go on the market.. BEST TO ALL Ron

Glad to hear it went so well. Darn, now I want one even more. I sure like KY-home of fast women and good looking horses.

Shot mine last Friday for first time
It was so great just out of the box and running a patch through the bbl. and a little Breakfree on slide rails. Then loading it up and finding it gos BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!13 times without any FTF or FTE problems. What great feeling this is a great .45acp. And taking it down for cleaning what a cinch such great Engineering. I quickly called Comp-Tac and placed a holster on order for my new carry handgun.
