NRA Personal Protection in the Home class
Yesterday I took the class at The Firing Line in Huntington Beach and used my XD9 Tac. Class started at 10:00, didn't get to start shooting until after 4:00. Left at 7:30 with other class members still shooting drills. Fun class! We did some point shooting drills at distances 3-5-7 yards, rapid fire double tap stuff, some multiple BG/target drills, shooting while moving, shooting from cover/concealment drills, etc. It was extremely beneficial to be able to do more than just stand in one place and shoot at paper targets no faster than one shot per second. The instructor said we could stay and shoot until closing at 10:00 if we wanted, but I couldn't. Don't know if that's what the other class members were planning to do. I've put almost 1500 rounds through my XD since getting it right before Christmas last year, mostly with WWB FMJ, but also some Black Hills JHP and a couple of other types of JHP. Not one failure of any kind. Good gun!
