New xd9 first shoot
I finally got a chance to shoot my new xd9. 150 rounds no faults. No disappointment here, and the two 16 round clips are awesome.

Glad to see you enjoy your new XD9, and you should have hundreds more rounds down range trouble free as well. I'm around 900-950 rounds through my XD9 and have had only one problem, an FTE on the first range visit with WWB, I usually run CCI Blazer and have never had a problem with it. Yeah, those 16 round mags are nice.
cnova - you can get the 15/16 round with grip sleeve for your subcompact here: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/pistols_bdfa.htm I'm sure there are other places to find them, but I know for sure they have them there. |

I'm no pro, but IMHO the XD Sub 9 I have doesn't have FTE problems if +P ammo is used. Mine likes the heavy loads best to complete cycling. A caution on the mags; they are great, but if loaded to capacity all the way to the top it doesn't work as smooth. SA said if you leave the top slot empty (one less bullet than capacity) the extended mags will work a lot better. Still get plenty of shots and with the new backup extended mag from Springfield we have more than enough accessible ammo.
